The meaning behind Pax Romana.
The name “Pax Romana” comes from the Latin phrase meaning “Roman Peace.” Historically, the Pax Romana describes an approximately 200-year period of relative peace, stability, cultural development, and economic growth throughout the Roman Empire. During this era, art, literature, architecture, trade, transportation, and new ideas flourished across regions.
While the Roman Empire had a complex history, the Pax Romana remains a symbol of what can be accomplished when vision, structure, stability, and shared purpose create an environment where people and ideas can grow.
Founder Jonathan Kiviat chose the name because it represents the legacy he wants the company to establish: an era of creativity, unity, opportunity, global influence, and positive cultural change. Just as ideas and innovation traveled across borders during the historic Pax Romana, Pax Romana Entertainment provides a platform for artists, creators, entrepreneurs, and visionaries to share their gifts with the world.
